*breaks my 4 year blogging hiatus for the city of love

Sometimes, you know you are in the middle of a core memory in the making.

Where do i even start.. this trip to France has surpassed everything I dreamt of .

If you ever ask me about my trip to Paris, keep in mind that I wont do the city justice with my words. They say Paris is the city of love, and I could not agree more. From its charming cobblestones, walks along the seine, streets of local cafes, the city screams 'romance'.

It is the feeling in your soul when you wander aimlessly and marvel at its architecture, when you come across small bakeries near your hotel and discover they serve really good croissants, its the feeling you get when you realise you are living your dream, being in the city of love with the people you love most. I try to prioritise logic over emotions, but I guess Paris makes you a romantic like that. And then there were the people, who seem to radiate happiness, always smiling and eager to help . People who slow down and prioritise pleasure and small life luxuries over anything else. People who buy flowers and have picnics at the park on a random tuesday - just because.

Suffice to say, I fell deeply in love with Paris and this trip will forever hold a special place in my heart. I have a feeling that I have found my favourite city. And while such a declarative statement may hit me back in the face in the future I dont think I will change my mind.
