Woke up to 'Fantastic Baby' from Angie's phone at around 5 am during my second day of aylc * or was it the third?*. And after receiving a heavy breakfast at the canteen, we went to River Valley High school to proceed with the activities. One of the games (wacko) involved yelling out a name from my new friends in family E4 and my name ended up being called most because its the easiest to pronounce. That puts me in a very bad position since I didnt even know any of their English names, let alone the chinese ones! So I pretty much mumbled vowels while pointing at random group mates and thankfully, no one noticed :D. The rest of the games was spent directly under the scorching sun and by the end of the day, my face is embarrassingly red. Anyways, the highlight of the event was LCD night! That was when you found yourself cramped with 1800 people in a huge auditorium yelling dancing and shouting to the music, putting arms around each other and crying. ( i didn't cry though, but people around me were).
Even as Im typing this, I miss AYLC dang much. The friendly people and River Valley High School. Especially my group facilitators!
